Heated wet room floors
A jointly tested floor system developed by Cellecta and Bostik.
Combining underfloor heating, waterproofing, drainage and acoustic performance within a single jointly supported floor system.
Wet rooms present a unique challenge for designers and installers, requiring underfloor heating, waterproofing, drainage and floor finishes to work together within a single floor build-up.
Cellecta and Bostik have jointly developed and tested a complete heated wet room floor system, combining underfloor heating, waterproofing and drainage within a single supported solution designed to simplify specification and improve installation confidence.

When Mark met Marc
The collaboration began when Mark Crowsley, Senior Technical Manager at Cellecta, met with Marc Rees, Business Development Manager at Bostik, to discuss product specification for heated floors within wet room and bathroom applications.
The meeting quickly evolved into a programme of testing and joint system development. Cellecta brought extensive expertise and performance data relating to heated floor systems, gained through both laboratory and on-site testing. Bostik contributed years of experience in smoothing compounds, tile adhesives, grouts and waterproofing systems.
The shared objective was clear: to combine the strengths of both companies and create a jointly tested, watertight heated floor solution that developers, designers and installers could specify with confidence.
"The collaboration between our businesses has been beneficial for many years. By pooling resources, sharing knowledge and technical expertise, we can help reduce risk for contractors and provide greater confidence in the solutions being specified and installed."
