Project Background

This Village Hotel is a six-storey hotel with over 7,700m² floorspace, car parking and associated landscaping, next to the Porsche Centre at Lakeside North Harbour Portsmouth. The hotel has 153 rooms, conference facilities and a leisure club with a 20m swimming pool, gym and fitness studio, costing £17 million. This hotel has excellent transport links to the city of Portsmouth and the wider Hampshire area via the M27 and the A3.

Cellecta HiDECK Acoustic Overlay 28 was specified by 3DReid for this project due to the floor treatment’s high density and superior compressive strength resilient layer; it provides outstanding levels of acoustic performance, exceeding legislative requirements. The board has a tongue and groove edge profile, allowing for screw-free installation.

Willmott Dixon was awarded the contract to construct this 900m² development.
