Residential Case Study
The Old Sorting Office, Bournemouth
Project Background
The Old Sorting Office is a development comprising of 83 one and two bedroom studio apartments located in the heart of Bournemouth. Spanning over six floors, with two retail units on the ground floor, this scheme fills the gap between the surrounding buildings and repairs the grain of development on Albert Road. Design using a Traditional, Contemporary style, this development is in close proximity to an array of various local restaurants, pubs and shops.
Cellecta’s ScreedBoard 28 was specified by ARC Architecture due to the high sound reduction performance and low floor levels. As it’s suitable for all floor types, it is frequently viewed as the solution of choice for new build and refurbishment developments. Its interlocking edges for installation convenience, high density, and unique resilient layer provides unrivalled acoustic performance.
