Project Background

This Village Hotel is a 4-star hotel and leisure club that opened in December 2018 and is located just north of Bristol in Filton. This hotel has 153 rooms, a licensed pub, restaurant, car park, Starbucks, meeting and events facilities and a gym with a heated swimming pool, steam room and sauna. This hotel is 13.3 miles from Bristol Airport, close to the M4 and M5, and within easy reach of Weston-Super-Mare and Wookey Hole, and close to the UWE Exhibition and Conference Centre. This development has created over 100 permanent jobs within the local community.

Cellecta HiDECK Acoustic Overlay 28 was specified by 3DReid for this project due to the floor treatment’s high density and superior compressive strength resilient layer; it provides outstanding levels of acoustic performance, exceeding legislative requirements. The board has a tongue and groove edge profile, allowing for screw-free installation.

Willmott Dixon was awarded the contract to construct this 932m² development.
