This will be the third consecutive year that Cellecta will be attending and 2013 promises to be an even bigger and better showing from Cellecta. ScreedBoard, will again be a key product at the event thanks to the products excellent under floor heating and sound proofing capabilities on a timber floor. Timber Expo will provide a unique opportunity for visitors to interact and learn more about the systems unique properties.

The board’s low thermal resistance(0.05m2/kW) allows heat to spread evenly through the floor and provide occupants with optimal warmth under foot. ScreedBoard® is able to accept various floor finishes including ceramic tiles (once primed), laminate flooring, vinyl and carpet making it ideal for a multitude of floor applications. ScreedBoard’s also feature excellent sound proofing performance when installed as an acoustic system and is compliant with Robust details E-FT-5 and E-FT-6 (The only single layer acoustic system for timber floors with a Robust detail). Additional benefits include its 20/28mm low profile, interlocking edge detail (no screws) and its ability to be cut with a hand or skill saw.

With an extensive range of acoustic and thermal insulation products suitable for timber frame developments, Timber expo proved to be a hugely successful exhibition for Cellecta. ScreedBoard 28, the ultimate acoustic overlay treatment took centre stage thanks to its excellent acoustic properties and super-slim design. The exhibition proved a perfect platform to emphasis the products benefits over traditional batten systems, including the need for fewer components (1 in comparison to 4), and its slimmer design reducing the impact on the floor height. ScreedBoard 28 is the only single layer acoustic floor treatment for timber floors with a Robust detail, which sparked interest among visitors seeking the most innovative and effective acoustic floor solutions for their timber floors. In addition, ScreedBoard 28 is a Robust detail treatment for E-FT-5, EF-T-6 and FFT4 compliant making it suitable for timber, concrete and steel floors.
Other products that were showcased included DECKfon CHiP 26T the ideal acoustic overlay board for timber floor refurbishment projects where a timber decking is present, other products such as DECKfon Quattro and CHiP 37T were also popular with visitors seeking a direct to joist timber floor solution.

Ecobuild 2011 provided the perfect platform for Cellecta to cement their position at the forefront of acoustic and thermal insulation solutions. Throughout the event the stand was populated by avid self builders, architects, housbuilders and distributors all eager to gain more information onCellecta product offerings and identify how the company’s products could help maximise the success of future projects.
The Cellecta stand featured live demonstrations of industry recognised products including YELOfon HD10+, DECKfon CHiP 26T, ScreedBoard 28 acoustic treatment and TETRiS thermal flooring system , which were all received with great interest as visitors looked to identify the most cost effective and eco-friendly products for their building needs. The show also saw the grand unveiling of Cellecta’s new brochure range, featuring streamlined designs, updated pictures and technical information, further emphasising the company’s ambition to offer un-paralleled product and technical information to all of its customers. Cellecta’s experienced sales team were also on hand to share their expert advice with customers from various backgrounds, and were able to offer solutions from small garage conversions to multi-storey flat complexes.
However, the star of the show was Cellecta’s new acoustic wall lining system FIBREfon HiGYP 30TM, which when combined with FIBREfon Baffle Strips could provide unprecedented acoustic performance in buildings with timber separating floors supported by masonry walls. The solution was quickly recognised as a revolutionary solution for both refurbishment and new-build projects, to reduce noisy neighbours and is sure to become another star in Cellecta’s range of industry defining acoustic solutions.
