Eliminating Acoustic Flanking

The acoustic efficiency of the floor can be adversely affected should acoustic bridging between the floating layer and surrounding structures occur (known as flanking transmission). All floor finishes must be isolated from the surrounding walls, services and other structural elements. To combat acoustic flanking, Cellecta manufactures an extensive range of flexible extruded polyethylene edge strips to suit specific systems.
