Improved Thermal Performance

A total of 317m2 of HiGYP 30TM was installed in the development to prevent sound intrusion between dwellings and provide improved thermal performance.  HiGYP 30TM is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with FIBREfon Baffle strips to significantly reduce airborne noise transmission in developments with timber floors and masonry walls. The 15mm Baffle Strips are bonded to the wall at 600mm (max) centers to create a unique air compartment, to aid sound absorption. The 30mm HiGYP 30TM wall lining boards are then fixed to the FIBREfon Baffle Strips using high performance acoustic fixings to complete the system. The HiGYP 30TM boards feature an interlocking edge detail making the system easy to cut to size and install.
